Kardashian’s post, which received comments from celebrities such as Chloe Moretz saying “…we have so much more to offer than just our bodies” was then followed up by another topless selfie with feminist model Em Ratajkowski, as well as recreated as a giant mural in Melbourne’s CBD. By replicating this image, the artist was able to send across the same feelings as Kardashian, a middle finger to those who reject unfamiliar forms of art. The piece illuminates at night with the help of projected light, commanding the attention of passerbys, stimulating reactions about modesty, both positive and negative, from all.
