Location 3

Still in the city just a few blocks away is Minns Lane which is sandwiched between Rococo Hairdressing and the Cocoa Tree Café. On the map it appears to be Downes Pl but it is currently called Minns Lane. Featured on one side is a collection of Glummo characters. These characters were painted only very recently with the support of Rococo Hairdressing.

By now it’s possible to note that the graffiti in the city is closely connected with businesses. It’s excellent that artists are able to promote their work throughout the city with the collaboration of businesses but it raises questions such as how are new artists able to promote their workout without it being illegal. This last stop in the city shows how little street art there is in Geelong and how it is quite tucked away from the public eye.
