Stop 5: RMIT Building 8

Leaving one university and entering another, RMIT has the potential for more varied latrinalia as its buildings are spread among the central business district. Among the usual emotional and witty messages are the occasional political claim. Individuals typically develop their own personal political views during university, and bathroom walls provide an alternative method of expressing these ideas. RMIT is a fun final stop, because the graffiti is hardest to find. As you search the many bathrooms in hopes of discovering these treasures, keep in mind how finding latrinalia can become as thrilling as seeing a beautiful mural. Despite the conventions that we are taught, sometimes it’s in the ugliest of places that true meaning is found.
